NAC has developed custom software with interchangeable code that integrates the 300/400 PLC and the 1500 PLC series on the same SCADA. Old and new PLC’s can coexist on the same SCADA which allows for new PLC series to be adopted and amortised over the lifecycle of the plant.
Expanding the plant using TIA1500 technology in tandem with an existing obsolete system can result in high capex costs, increase downtime and risk.
Instead of having to avoid to upgrade an entire 300/400 PLC system when the equipment comes to the end of its lifecycle, NAC Engineering has developed WinCC/S7 software standards that allows coexistence of 300/400/1500 PLC’s on the same SCADA platform, avoiding the “bump” that migration causes while decreasing downtime and risk.
With NAC Engineering’s software, you can have old and new PLC’s on the same system, which means that you can manage your Capex and Depreciation while reducing downtime.
Don’t migrate, integrate. With NAC Engineering, plant PLC migration does not have mean long periods of plant shutdown.
